Accessibility in tenant engagement
Tenant engagement activities at TCHC are made accessible to ensure full participation from all tenant leaders.
TCHC is committed to providing full participation opportunities to all of our tenant leaders and building representatives through our Tenant Engagement System.
To ensure that all tenants are able to fully participate, TCHC will:
- Ensure meeting times accommodate Wheel-Trans requirements
- Review all meeting venues and locations for accessibility ahead of the event
- Providing A.O.D.A Volunteer training about legislated requirements
- Making sure that all communications to tenants about the program are delivered accessibly to remove barriers for people with disabilities
