Recap from the 2022 Regional Forums

Snapshots from the 2022 regional TCAT forums

2022 Regional Forums

Last fall we helped regional forums that brought together tenants leaders in each of TCHC operational regions – East, West and Central. Each forum provided tenant leaders with opportunities to engage with TCHC staff on various issues affecting their communities. Two hundred and ninety-three tenant leaders, including elected Community Representatives and Building Committee Members, participated in the forums. This series of events was the first of its kind in more than two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We were excited to reconnect with tenant leaders and to get feedback on new priorities and other changes that may have taken place in their communities. The forums were important for us to hear about what's working and what needs to be improved on.

Whether through the questions asked during the panel discussion sessions or the feedbacks from the surveys, we want to let you know that we heard you clearly. We have documented all of your feedback and have started working with different TCHC divisions to respond effectively to your concerns. We will continue to update you through this newsletter and other channels on any progress that's being made to address your concerns on a short-term and long-term basis.

You're a leader in your community

Tenant leaders play important roles in advancing tenant engagement, participation and the delivery of programs and services in their TCHC communities. Before the regional forums last year, we carried out surveys to understand priorities in each region. We received exceptional feedback.
