Happening now in Leslie Nymark, free art workshops for the community lead by local artists. Come one, come all TCHC tenants in Leslie Nymark and join the fun!

Learn the art form of dance, graffiti, spoken word and MCing from some of Toronto’s best local artists. No registration needed, just drop by the Amenities Room at 30 Okra Tomar Crescent every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., until August 17, 2022.

• July 27th - Dance (Hip Hop/Afro) 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m with Edz
• August 3rd - Dance (Hip Hop/ Afro) 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m with Edz
• August 10th - Graffiti - *5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Luvs
• August 17th - Graffiti - *5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. - with Luvs

Part of the Leslie Nymark Public Art Project that engages both new and returning residents with the ideas for the newly revitalized community and a collaborative neighbourhood, these art workshops follow the recent unveiling a new neighbourhood mural that celebrates the Leslie Nymark community, created by local artists Jessey Pacho and collaborating artists Moises Frank and Alex Popelavskis. This exclusive art project is made possible by Leslie Nymark's Full Spectrum – a partnership between #TCHC, Tridel, STEPS Public Art and Phade Creative
