Exciting eco opportunities for TCHC youth to learn, earn, and lead
Build confidence, skills and your future career
Thinking about your next step whether that’s learning, volunteering, or getting work experience in environmental and climate action?
Thinking about your next step in environment and climate action? There are programs available right now to help you—whether you want to volunteer, build new skills, or find paid work.
Through the United Nations Association in Canada, youth ages 12 to 30 can join the Green Schools Volunteers Eco Clubs. You can start or join projects like clean-ups, gardening, and tree planting. You will meet other young people, learn from experts, earn volunteer hours, and build leadership skills.
The Building Young Professionals program, for ages 20 to 29, helps you get career-ready. You will get training, connect with a mentor, and gain work experience. This includes paid placements in green jobs.
You can also apply to the Science Technology Employment Programme, for ages 15 to 30. This program connects youth to paid jobs in clean energy, forestry, environmental protection, and climate action. This will help you gain real experience while earning income.
These programs are open to youth from all backgrounds. You can build your resume, earn money or volunteer hours, and contribute to positive change in your community.
No experience is needed. Apply now or share this with someone who may be interested.
