200 kids receive free swimsuits to beat the heat Toronto's recent heat alerts have made it a challenge to stay cool. Toronto Community Housing currently has 14 pools open across the city and works with our vendor, Superior Pool to facilitate and maintain the pools.

Highlights of July 28 Toronto Community Housing board meeting Toronto Community Housing’s Board of Directors approved yesterday a new Accessibility Policy for the organization, developed in consultation with the R-PATH (Responsible Personal Accessibility in Toronto Housing) committee of TCHC residents, staff and community agencies.

Toronto Community Housing’s Journeys to Success empowerment and capacity-building program is a first of its kind for males On Sunday, July 26, 2015, more than 50 residents and 18 mentors were in attendance at the Toronto Plaza Hotel for the Journeys to Success: Celebrating Community Heroes dinner event.

Swimming pools are open later during Toronto's Heat Alert Due to the City's current Heat Alert, the operating hours for Toronto Community Housing's swimming pools have been extended until 9 p.m.
