Youth help kick off 2010 Live to Play Children’s Soccer Tournament Toronto Community Housing, Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (Canada) and roughly 60 students from St. Jamestown’s Winchester Public School kicked off the 2010 Live to Play Children’s Soccer Tournament on Universal Children’s Day, November 20th.

Annual General Meeting - November 5
On November 5, over 250 tenants, staff and community members joined Toronto Community Housing for its Annual General Meeting. It was an opportunity to hear from the Board of Directors and the Senior Management team as they reflected on the successes and challenges from the 2008 business year.

CBC Radio Metro Morning on Regent Park CBC Radio Metro Morning host Andy Barrie had a chance to tour a new condo in Regent Park - still under construction - and one of the new social housing buildings, which already has new tenants. Leading the tour were Liz Root, project director for Regent Park with Toronto Community Housing and Martin Blake.

Additional CMP Meeting Toronto Community Housing has added an additional public consultation meeting in response to tenants to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to have their say on Toronto Community Housing's Community Management Plan. This meeting is for tenants and community stakeholders who could not attend the previously scheduled meetings.

Toronto Community Housing announces the Honourable Patrick LeSage, Q.C., will lead independent third-party review of eviction David Mitchell, chair of the Board of Directors, Toronto Community Housing, today announced that the Honourable Patrick LeSage, Q.C., former Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, will lead the independent third-party review into the eviction of tenant Al Gosling.
