About the surveyThe 2015 Resident Survey measures overall resident satisfaction with Toronto Community Housing and with specific services Toronto Community Housing provides.
Toronto Community Housing worked with an independent company, Nielsen Consumer Insights, to conduct a survey of residents. Paper surveys were mailed to a random sample of 1,300 households in each of Toronto Community Housing's 13 operating units, including contract-managed units. There was also an online survey option, and some residents completed the survey by phone. A total of 3,383 residents completed the survey. The survey was done between February 5 and April 6, 2015.
The survey results have a margin of error of +/- 1.7%, 19 times out of 20.
