Supporting residents to participate in the 2012 ONPHA Conference

October 04, 2012

Each year, the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) holds a conference. It provides opportunities for people to share/learn issues related to housing and connect with external resources. This year's conference is November 15-18, 2012 at Toronto Sheraton Centre. Visit ONPHA's website to learn more about the conference.

Toronto Community Housing is committed to supporting residents to be engaged and connected to external resources. One way we do this is through local tenant council funds. This year, in each Operating Unit, two Tenant Representatives, one Youth Representative and one tenant will be selected by the local Tenant Council to attend this conference. Each Tenant Council will determine a selection process that works best in their community.

If you are interested in attending the ONPHA conference this year, please fill out the application form and apply through your local Health Promotion Officer or Youth Engagement Coordinator. The application form is available from your Health Promotion Officer or Youth Engagement Coordinator. To find the contact information for your Health Promotion Officer or Youth Engagement Coordinator go to the staff directory.
