One-, two- and three-bedroom affordable rental units will be ready for occupancy by mid-2018 in three new Regent Park buildings located at 50 Regent Park Blvd., 110 River St. and 21 Tubman Ave. Some of one-bedroom units will be designated for seniors only. You or a member of your household need to be 59 years of age or older to qualify for the seniors designated units.
Affordable rent units are offered based on wait time and eligibility criteria.
How do I get on the waiting list?
We expect to get a large volume of applications for the three new buildings. So, we will randomly assign positions on the waiting list to applicants using an electronic system. The City will provide oversight of this process to ensure it is fair.
Please submit your expression of interest on one of the following three days: November 6, 7 and 8. The deadline for submitting your expression of interest is 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8. On November 9, we will use your randomly assigned number to generate your position on the waiting list for affordable rental units at Regent Park.
After a waiting list is created for each of the three new buildings, applicants will be contacted to proceed with the approval process.
You can put your name on the waiting list on or after Monday, November 6, 2017 (not before) by:
