Public input about indoor temperature standards in Toronto

May 11, 2015

The City of Toronto is considering changing the bylaw about indoor temperatures, including heating and air conditioning. The proposed change includes removing the date ranges of when heating must be turned on and off. If approved, the change would give landlords more options to manage building temperatures and help ensure the comfort of tenants. Two consultation meetings will be held:
  • Wednesday, May 13: North York Civic Centre, Committee Room 3, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 20: City Hall, Committee Room 3, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
