Angela Cooke joined Toronto Community Housing on September 6 as Vice President, Resident and Community Services.
An experienced social housing senior manager and leader, Angela is the successful candidate in the recent competition for the position of Vice President, Resident and Community Services. She will report to Chief Operating Officer Wayne Tuck.
In this position, Angela will be responsible for the work done by Toronto Community Housing in resident engagement and community development, revitalization and renewal community engagement, and resident access and support.
Angela brings more than two decades of experience as a senior manager and leader with social housing providers both in Canada and the United Kingdom. She joins us from WoodGreen Community Services, where she has served in senior positions since 2012, most recently as Vice President of Housing and Supports.
Angela has an honours bachelor of arts degree in housing from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and holds postgraduate qualifications in business performance and leadership in social housing from the University of Bradford School of Management in the United Kingdom.
