On April 8, 2010, Toronto Community Housing will hold its first youth tenant election, giving about 400 youth, 14 to 28 years old, the opportunity to develop leadership skills and have a say in their community.

Elected Youth Representatives will represent over 22,000 youth living in Toronto Community Housing Communities. They will attend regular monthly meetings, participate in formal Youth Council activities and serve for a two year term.

This year, general voting day is Thursday, April 8, 2010.

*Advance polling day is Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
