Toronto Community Housing's New Operating Units

Toronto Community Housing's 27 Community Housing Units are being replaced with 13 Operating Units.

Eleven of the units will be focused on family and mixed housing and grouped geographically into three areas - West, Central and East.

Two units, one for the east side of the city and one for the west, will be exclusively focused on our seniors mandated buildings and our single family homes. The creation of a Seniors Housing Unit and a new operational model for single family homes is a response to the different needs associated with these types of housing.
