Toronto Community Housing is committed to developing systems of representation that contribute to the health of communties.

Toronto Community Housing's tenants are represented by hundreds of elected Tenant Representatives. Tenant Representatives play a special role in creating healthy communities by advocating for the interests of tenants and by participating with Toronto Community Housing management staff in the decision-making process at the community level.

The Tenant Representatives from each Community Housing Unit sit on Community Housing Unit councils. These councils meet regularly with staff to set priorities, allocate resources and solve problems at the community level.
