Regent Park demolition photos mark a forward step for new aquatics complex. Have a look at photos from the demolition of townhouses and an apartment complex at 230 Sumach Street. The demolition is in progress to make way for the City of Toronto to construct an indoor aquatics complex in Regent Park, which will be located in a new central park being planned for the community.

Five things tenants should know about Lawrence Heights revitalization

The brand new facility -- a partnership between the Government of Canada, the City of Toronto, the United Way of Greater Toronto and Humewood House -- will help young mothers build a stronger future for themselves and their children by providing safe and supportive shelter.

City of Toronto and Toronto Community Housing kick off planning for revitalized Lawrence Heights

Toronto Community Housing and the City of Toronto today officially launched the process to revitalize Lawrence Heights and the Lawrence-Allen community.

Regent Park Goes Green Toronto Community Housing is making the new Regent Park green and environmentally conscious. One way is by building the new Regent Park Community Energy System. It will provide clean reliable and competitively-priced heating, cooling and hot water to all buildings in Regent Park while reducing the emission of greenhouse gases by 8,000 tonnes a year during phase one of the neighbourhood revitalization.

Recycling can be fun! Toronto Community Housing, with the support of the Toronto District School Board, recently launched an Environmental Education pilot program for the Grade 5 students at Nelson Mandela, Lord Dufferin, Sprucecourt and Regent Park/Duke of York Public Schools.
