200 Wellesley St. East Tenant Update: 10:30 am
The building is still not ready for re-entry. We are working on a re-entry plan to get you home as quickly as possible.
Please visit the Toronto Community Housing information table at the Wellesley Community Centre (495 Sherbourne Street) to register your current contact information, if you haven't done so yet.

Bus Shuttle Service - There is bus service between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to provide transportation between the hotels and the Wellesley Community Centre.
Ontario Works (OW) and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Pay Direct Rental Payments - Residents whose October rent has been paid directly to Toronto Community Housing will be reimbursed by cheque. The cheques can be picked up with the yellow registration card as ID on the 2nd floor of the Wellesley Community Centre at these times:

Thursday September 30th 3 pm - 5:00 pm
Friday October 1st 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay Direct reimbursement cheques not picked up during these times can be picked up starting Monday October 4th at your usual local Toronto Employment and Social Services office or the local Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) office.
Mail Pick Up - Canada Post will be onsite from 10 am to 2 pm until Friday. On Thursday, mail can be picked up from 5 pm to 8 pm. Residents can pick up mail at the kitchen window in the Wellesley Community Centre using their Toronto Community Housing letter of identification and yellow registration card.
Temporary Accommodations - Most residents who were housed in shelters at the Wellesley Community Centre at 495 Sherbourne Street have been moved to hotels, Toronto Community Housing apartments and other temporary accommodations. Residents received food vouchers and TTC tokens. Regular buses will travel between the new sites and the Wellesley Community Centre which will remain open to provide tenant support services.
Residents who decide to leave hotels must check out at the hotel's registration desk.
Hotel rooms are available in Scarborough now, if you would like one please visit the Toronto Community Housing information desk at the Wellesley Community Centre.
Pets - Toronto Animal Services has visited all units where pets were reported. The team included two veterinarians who examined every animal found, and left food and water. Toronto Animal Services will contact you about when and how you can reclaim your pet. If you have questions, please visit room B at the Wellesley Community Centre.
Extended Library Hours - The St. James Town branch of the Toronto Public Library will be open late every evening and will open on Sundays and Mondays to support residents of 200 Wellesley to support the residents of 200 Wellesley as long as the Wellesley Community Centre is open.
Clothing & Toiletries - Residents can take their yellow registration cards to 519 Church Street (Church Street Community Centre, north of Wellesley) to pick donated clothing including new socks and underwear, outdoor clothing and toiletries.
