Jobs and Employment

Residents have expressed their desire for revitalization to create job opportunities for the community.

At this meeting, residents heard about successful job creation in other revitalization projects, as well as Toronto Community Housing’s efforts to support tenant businesses. Tenants and the consulting team also discussed the possibility of jobs being created through revitalization in Alexandra Park – jobs created by the construction, new retail and office spaces.
