More 200 Wellesley St. E. tenants able to return home Another group of residents of 200 Wellesley St. E. displaced by fire can return home. A block of 24 units on the 23rd and 25th floors of the building's South tower has been cleared for occupancy. Tenants have been notified and are able to return today.

Toronto Community Housing takes over management of 200 Wellesley St. E. In the aftermath of the Sept. 24th six-alarm fire at 200 Wellesley St. E., Toronto Community Housing has exercised its right to take over property management of the 711-unit building.

242 apartments re-occupied at 200 Wellesley St. E. Residents of 200 Wellesley St. E. displaced by last week's fire are returning home in phases. Two-hundred and forty-two apartments of the 340 that are safe for return in the South tower are occupied.

Today, a week after a six-alarm fire at 200 Wellesley St. E. displaced 1,200 residents, including many vulnerable tenants, the first group of residents from the south tower is returning home.
