FCM’s Green Municipal Fund supports the Toronto Community Housing’s building-mounted wind turbine study Berry Vrbanovic, president of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and councillor for the City of Kitchener, Ont., today announced a Green Municipal FundTM (GMF) grant contribution for Toronto Community Housing. The agency put the $175,000 in funding toward a study of the feasibility of mounting wind turbines on multi-storey social housing units in the urban core.

Refurbished outdoor basketball court opened in St. James Town Mitzie Hunter, Toronto Community Housing's Chief Administrative Officer, today joined residents of St. James Town to celebrate the official opening of a newly refurbished outdoor basketball court as a result of a donation of more than $100,000 by the MLSE Team Up Foundation.
