Seniors' Month in June
In June, Toronto Community Housing celebrates Seniors’ Month to recognize the value and contributions made by seniors in our communities every day.
Support for senior tenants is an organizational priority. Our three-year strategic plan, the Community Management Plan 2010-2012, includes a Seniors Strategy (PDF). During Seniors’ Month and throughout the year, Toronto Community Housing works with community organizations to help seniors live in comfort and with respect in their own homes.
A few highlights from this month are listed below this video:
| In Your Backyard, a community event, featured the screening of “Coming Together” an intergenerational community film project and a photo exhibit produced by youth and seniors living in and around Regent Park.
