Toronto Community Housing acquired this infill development site in late 2006. The property had been zoned for a condominium development and Toronto Community Housing is working within the framework of the earlier zoning to develop a building suited for families with children.

The new building will have 180 suites some with two floors and with as many as 5 bedrooms. 140 of the units are targeted for Regent Park replacement, while the remaining 40 will be affordable rental. The new building will feature state of the art environmental technologies including individual heat recovery ventilation units, high efficiency boilers, and an intensive green roof.

Construction began in July 2007 and be completed in early 2009.
