This development project involves the redevelopment of a deteriorating existing schoolhouse building that was turned into 13 units of artists' housing many years ago.

Toronto Community Housing has retained Levitt Goodman Architects and through working group sessions with our tenants (who are all working artists) have arrived at a design which will introduce 13 new open-concept units. The redevelopment will also include new amenity area and landscaping.

The project is in the planning approvals stage. Construction is scheduled to start in 2008, with occupancy slated for 2009.
