Regent Park Tenant Sureya and her children were tenants in an old Dundas Street town home - part of Phase One. As part of an initiative with the Centre for Digital Story Telling, Sureya prepared a short documentary about her move to a new home.

Regent Park residents and neighbours celebrate opening of Cole Street
Residents, friends and neighbours of Regent Park celebrated the historic opening of the community’s first new street in 50 years on Saturday. The unveiling of Cole Street and the reopening of Oak, Sackville and Regent Streets marked the opening of the Regent Park Revitalization.

Regent Park Revitalization Street Festival There will be dancing in the streets of Toronto on June 12, 2010 from 1 to 4 p.m., when a celebration will be held to mark the unveiling of the first new street in the Regent Park Revitalization - Cole Street - with the support of Toronto Community Housing and The Daniels Corporation.

Celebrating a financial first in Regent Park revitalization
A group of Regent Park residents and local leaders joined RBC today in celebrating "financial firsts" for the community. The event marked another important milestone in the Regent Park revitalization: the opening of the first financial institution, RBC's new branch at the corner of Dundas and Parliament Streets.
