We will strive to ensure that tenants are housed in clean, well-maintained buildings.
- Monitoring maintenance performance and communicating results to tenants
- Increasing the frequency of weekend and evening cleaning through a tenant apprenticeship program
- Expanding the implementation of pest and bedbug management, treatment and education programs to all buildings
VALUABLE COMMUNITY SPACES
We will enable uses of community space that improve access and bring enjoyment and pride to residents.
- Creating new opportunities for community gardening in urban and suburban settings
- Investing in a “Curb Appeal” strategy to improve and enhance the exterior appearance of buildings and neighbourhoods
- Recognizing the "value of services for value of spaces" by developing new guidelines to improve the way we access and partner with service agencies

ENHANCED COMMUNITY SAFETY
We will work to improve safety conditions and make tenants feel safer in their neighbourhoods.
- Launching Community Standards that identify shared values and acceptable behaviours in the community
- Strengthening our partnerships with the Toronto Police Service
- Investing in physical improvements to ensure areas that tenants use are safe and accessible

We will invest wisely in repairs to housing and revitalization of neighbourhoods. We will be leaders in energy conservation and environmental protection.
- Continual capital investment in buildings to ensure they remain up to our quality standards
- Lessening our ecological footprint by reducing pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and waste
- Continuing to pursue a comprehensive approach to community revitalization that involves and engages the community
- Divesting properties that are no longer performing well within our portfolio
