In 2008, Toronto Community Housing and the City of Toronto began coordinated planning studies to plan for the revitalization of Lawrence Heights and the larger Lawrence-Allen area. The purpose of the Toronto Community Housing study is to develop a plan for the revitalization of the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood. The purpose of the City’s study is to establish a planning context for the Lawrence Heights revitalization and to address planning issues in the larger Lawrence-Allen area.

Toronto Community Housing has been working together with the City of Toronto, the Toronto District School Board, CMHC and other partners in the planning of this revitalization.
