The Sales Operations & Marketing Coordinator supports the sales objectives of the organization by managing and directing pre-sales and post-sales activities across the business in order to deliver on financial results and customer satisfaction. The incumbent is accountable for managing all aspects of marketing and promotion of hsi services. This position reports to the Executive Director, Business Development.

Responsibilities:

 

Sales Operations

• Ensures the successful selling of solutions and ongoing support of customers by participating and leading the development of the Sales strategy from a pre-sales and post-sales perspective

• Works with the Executive Director, Business Development to prepare the annual sales target and analyzes ongoing performance against the plan

• Develops customer sales strategy plans with senior team

• Works with Business Development Managers and service managers to establish timelines and financial plans for all customer projects

• Acts as a prime member of the customer opportunity team where proposals are reviewed for financial and operational viability

• Manages internal and external resources throughout projects and orchestrates collaboration and communication among all parties involved

• Acts as point of contact for customer complaints and contract dispute resolution

• Participates actively in the sales development process as a team member in developing sales proposals and responding to RFP/RFI's

• Acts as the "transition manager" for the integration of new clients

• Develops Sales Forecasting and Funnel Management Reports

• Conducts post mortems of customer wins and losses and puts forward action plans for future prospects

• Takes leadership role in developing sector partnerships

Marketing Management

• Develops and executes marketing communications programs in support of hsi's overall business goals

• Develops and implements a system to measure effectiveness of marketing communications programs

• Leads the specification and design of the web portal‘s look, feel, and functionality related to our external audiences - clients, partners, public bodies, vendors and subcontractors

• Develops and ensures delivery of training to maximize the usability of the web portal by external audiences

• Develops marketing plans and executes ROI analysis as needed

• Works with internal/external training resources and sponsorship organizations such as GTAA to manage the delivery and profitability of training programs

Qualifications:

 

• Minimum of 7 years extensive job related experience in Sales/Marketing

• Post secondary college or university education in a relevant discipline i.e. Business Administration or Marketing

• Demonstrated knowledge of all processes related to the development and production of communication materials and experience managing communication projects

• Experience working with and managing internal/external resources. i.e. temporary and contract staff on a project-by-project basis

• Experience managing profit and loss activity

• Experience working with internal/external clients and resources to successfully implement a marketing strategy

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects

• Experience assessing and improving internal processes to drive sales effectiveness

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and PC-based graphic design programs such as Corel Draw, Photoshop

• Strong team player with collaborative style

• Ability to work with all levels of companies and within the organization

• Self motivated with a track record of meeting goals

• Planning, organization and time management skills]

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills
