A garden, a car company and the power to surprise Picture it! Two Kia cars arrive in a community, with seedlings and soil. The drivers get out of the cars, the neighbourhood comes to life and together everyone works to build a beautiful garden.... but things like that only happen on television, right?

Playground project (video) On Thursday, September 24th, volunteers from Home Depot, the non-profit organization KaBOOM!, tenants and staff from Toronto Community Housing, transformed an empty space into a new playground for children in the Blake Boultbee community.

New bicycles help build great neighbourhood Thirty-three children living in the West-end community of Swansea Mews received new bicycles and helmets today, thanks to an ongoing green- and healthy living partnership between the Dutch Consulate General and Toronto Community Housing.

Tenant Elections 2009: Tenants vote to shape their future Toronto Community Housing tenants took part in an important democratic exercise today. They voted to select new tenant representatives for their buildings and communities.
